Meet Dr. Bri

Why a Pediatric Dentist?

According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, pediatric dentists are the “pediatricians of dentistry” and have two to three years of specialty training following dental school, qualifying them to deal with the behavioral aspects of children, how to make them feel comfortable and how to make the dental experience a pleasant one. It is our goal to provide an experience that establishes trust and confidence and to educate on a level that your child can understand. Pediatric dentists are primary and specialty oral care providers for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs.

Brianne Ferguson, DDS, MSD

Dr. Brianne Ferguson is from Northwest Indiana (Portage, IN). She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Bri went on to complete specialized training to become a pediatric dentist. She completed her 2 year pediatric dentistry residency and received her Master of Science in Dentistry degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry and Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. You may be wondering, what brought her to West Michigan? The answer would be her husband, Dr. Matthew Ferguson, who is a West Michigan native (and also a dentist)! In the office, you can find Dr. Bri singing to patients (songs that she likely made up), telling funny animal stories and trying to have each child leave with a smile on their face. Dr. Bri feels lucky to be the best kind of dentist, a pediatric dentist, and she gets the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children. She strives to provide children and families with a dental office that feels like a dental home.

Outside of the office Dr. Bri has enjoyed getting to know all our community has to offer! Some of her favorite things include hiking, visiting the beach and hot yoga.

Dr. Bri is passionate about pediatric dentistry and the dental profession. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Muskegon District Dental Society.
